Texans for Rural Entrepreneurship & Education (TREE) noticed the need for free assistance to help the community grow future business owners and has since put together a strategic plan on how to offer the community that added value.

Hidalgo County, TX - Progresso ISD superintendent, Dr. Fernando Castillo and Progreso Mayor Omar Vela will welcome entrepreneurs of all levels to the first economic development conference presented the Progreso Independent School District. The Economic Development Conference will be held on Saturday, August 4 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Insert Location Here.
This conference will provide rural Hidalgo County residents information on business development regarding technical assistance and business financing resources available in South Texas.

Seguin, Texas: Entrepreneurship Summit 2007, presented by I-10 Corridor Association, will be held on Wednesday, March 21 from 8:00am to 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, in Tschoepe Hall at Texas Lutheran University. Community leaders, elected officials and students are encouraged to attend. The summit, which will offer a forum where community leaders can learn new ways to support and grow entrepreneurs locally.
Entrepreneurship Summit 2007 topics will include; Shifting Demographics, Building an Entrepreneurship Economy, and Advancing Regional Entrepreneurship.
